I can never decide how I feel about real family portraits like the one above. Half of me thinks they’re inappropriate unless you’re legit aristocracy, but the other half of me just thinks they’re super dope and wants one really badly. I think they work best in a traditional space with a bit of a contemporary edge like this high gloss blue sitting room by Melissa Rufty.
